Deep Pore Cleansing Treatment with Microdermabrasion

The first step is to soothe and hydrate the skin while lifting up dead cells, and opening pores. The goal is to bring all trapped hardened oil to the surface to make extractions easy, painless and thorough. To achieve the ultimate results I use a specially formulated organic mask on your skin and then gently apply steam using an innovative design created specifically for me by a well-known sculptor. After this thorough steaming, the skin is to let go of hardened oil and impurities.

Extractions are followed by microdermabrasion. From my experience, only microdermabrasion allows skin to release deeper layers of dead cells and breaks up any clogging. Most typically clogging is the result of using chemical sunscreen or not having a facial for a long time.

The next step of the treatment digs even deeper and removes any additional dead skin cells which have been left over after extractions and micro. This step is a double peel. The peel combines citric acid which helps digest remaining dead cells and vitamin C which heals and soothes. The effect of this procedure is truly miraculous because the peel is very effective but at the same time it does not irritate skin.

The miracle peel is followed by a soothing and disinfecting lavender toner and then a healing cream designed by celebrated esthetician, Georgina Acosta. The final step before looking at our renewed skin in the mirror is an herbal mask.

Deep Pore Cleansing and Detoxifying C-Serum Treatment for Rosacea

Roseacea is a chronic inflammatory condition of the skin. Rosacea skin holds on to dead skins cells and oil and this congestion becomes inflammation. The solution is to promote the decongesting of the skin and can be achieved with my deep cleansing facial. The treatment will open pores and help skin shed dead cells. The addition of the C-Serum peel will eliminate free radicals while strengthening capillary walls and enhancing the skins own healing ability.

This facial will conclude with a concentrated Vita-C hydrating treatment leaving the face clean and decongested. This treatment is very good for preventing the progression of further stages of Rosacea.

Current research shows that Rosacea cannot be cured but can be effectively managed. I will work with your dermatologist to get you the right medicine to use at night and help design a successful daytime regiment which will include such non clogging products as the aloe moisturizer, the anti inflammatory toner, C-serum and zinc oxide sunscreen.

Acne Treatment

Curing acne is a three part effort involving you, me and a dermatologist.  Our combined efforts will get your complexion glowing in no time. First, you follow my pre-treatment regiment of daily care at home, then you have a dermatologist prescribe important medication for acne to have on hand, and finally I do a series of deep cleanings essential to eliminate acne. 

When oil is trapped without oxygen bacteria grows. Acne can be reduced by approximately 50% just by using the right products. The products will do half of the job and I will do the other half.  After looking at your skin and consulting with your dermatologist, we can determine the best products for you to soften the outmost layer of your skin allowing the trapped oils to start to come to the surface.

The Acne Treatment Facial includes all the steps of the Deep Pore Cleansing Facial but with more extraction. The extraction of trapped oil, blackheads, and whiteheads is so detailed and thorough that you will see an immediate difference in the appearance of your skin. In addition, the facial treats not only the symptoms of acne, but also its triggers.

For this treatment to be successful there are several appointments. The first appointment is a consultation with me. I give you a regiment of my products to use for two weeks until our next appointment. It is essential for you to follow the regiment religiously to loosen that outermost layer and release the oils beneath for the extraction appointment(s) to be the most effective.

After the initial sessions regular facials will serve as prevention from breakouts but you must have on hand the products your dermatologist has prescribed to use after this point.

Back Exfoliating Treatment

This treatment is recommended at least once every season to remove the pile-up of dead skin cells on the back and to prevent breakouts. The first part of the treatment is a triple peel. First I apply glycolic acid to dissolve dead skin cells. After this I apply the citric and ascorbic peels twice. After applying all three peels, I apply a soothing lavender lotion which thoroughly cleans the skin. The final application is my own herbal anti-inflammatory and balancing toner and pure aloe moisturizer.

After the treatment you will feel that the skin on your back is refreshed and breathing.

Beta-X peel
(Great for mature skin; breakout and acne prone skin)

The Beta-x peel contains salicylic acid and is a safe and effective peel. Highly recommended for mature skin to erase fine lines and remove thickened dead skin. For skin with acne, this peel will smooth out scars and kill bacteria. For skin with acne the best results will be achieved after acne is under control to remove scars and smooth out the complexion.

Full Face Wax

Waxing achieves results similar to a facial.  It opens pores allowing oxygen to nourish skin cells and takes off layers of dead skin.

The full face wax treatment includes eyebrow, lip, chin and sides of face. This procedure removes hair revealing smooth soft skin. After waxing lavender extract is applied to soothe skin.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a method of skin resurfacing using vacuum pressure and aluminum oxide crystals. By initiating cellular turnover, skin elasticity, texture, color, clarity, and overall appearance will dramatically improve. All body parts can be treated, especially hands, elbows, feet, knees, and back, in addition to the face and neck.

Repeated treatments improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, sun damage, hyper pigmentation, and aged skin.

Treatments are recommended every 2 to 4 weeks. A series of 4 to 8 treatments are recommended. Optimal results are seen after 8 to 12 weeks of treatments.
